allegory of the urbanites.

allegory of the urbanites.

from the city is where i came.
under the sun, the concrete glared,
and the train went out
expanding.

we all live behind closed walls;
erected to keep out the noise
from the chaos that is all around
expanding

like a thought
       or maybe a disease.
everyone is so afraid of the stranger.
there is no sympathy for the foreigner,
but everyone of us is a traveler

in the city where i came from.
